FAQ

NOTE: Read the Sign only delivers in Australia.

Once ordered how long until I receive my sign?
When ordering online you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. We understand your urgency, so we aim to produce your sign and post it within 2 business days. (Note: does not include weekends & public holidays. Some delays during peak periods). We use Australia Post delivery to your designated address!

How are the signs made?
Computer designed and generated the lettering is cut from rolls of high quality PVC adhesive vinyl in various colours (as shown in the sign creator). The height range of the lettering is 15mm (1.5cm) minimum to 560mm (56cm) maximum. (Note- we cannot print logos).

What types of signs are available?
"Ready to apply" signs that you will stick/apply to windows, car, boat or any smooth surface.
"Mounted" signs that come mounted on a 3mm board, ready for display.

What is the longevity of vinyl signs?
The adhesive vinyl has a 5-7 year Australian outdoor durability rating (manufacturer´s warranty against cracking, fading or peeling). Handled with care and depending if the sign is for interior or exterior use, your sign may last a lot longer.

"Ready to apply" signs - What can I stick them onto?
The surface must be smooth and very clean (no grease, dust or dirt- the cleaner the surface the better the vinyl will stick). Suited for application to glass, plastic, colourbond/metal, vehicle panels, boats, some timber products and corflute (you can now make your own signs!).

Is it difficult to apply the signs?
There are some dos and don´ts - but we will send you an easy to follow instruction sheet. We recommend using a squeegee (available when you order). Carefully follow these instructions and you will be surprised how simple it is and how great your sign now looks!

Is it easy to get the lettering off?
Yes, pre heating the vinyl letters with relatively hot water (caution-not boiling) or use a hair dryer. This will help loosen the adhesive and make it easier to peel off. (Note - Once removed the lettering cannot be used again).

How come there is no GST?
Annual sales turnover is currently below the Australian Tax Office (ATO) threshold that requires this business to be registered for GST. Thus we do not add GST to the cost of your sign. (*In the future, as sales continue to increase, we may have to register for GST).
